Bassendean Optical

Michael Doyle is a behavioural optometrist who can provide full visual processing assessments for children struggling in school. He first performs a comprehensive functional visual assessment and if this is within age expected, a Visual Information processing assessment is conducted. The results of this assessment then directs the path & degree of involvement with other professionals [occupational therapists, speech therapists, school psychologists etc] and type of vision therapy indicated. In consultation with the parents, we conduct vision therapy in-office, home-based or supervision on-line depending on the individual child's location and family's involvement.
